The Shepherds Cottages offers guests two lovely, family friendly, three bedroomed former farm worker’s cottages on a working farm, right on the edge of the village of Camber. You will be less than a 2 minute walk from the beautiful Camber Sands, yet away from the noise of the village. Escape back to your private gardens after a hot day on the beach, or the lovely log burner after a long winters walk.

Through the front door you will walk straight into a large boot room, perfect for wellies, flip flops, prams and dogs, or just to dump your bags and head straight to the beach! This leads into the double aspect kitchen diner with kitchen table that will comfortably seat 8. Off the kitchen is a large utility room with a second large fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and second sink. This leads straight out to the large garden which overlooks the fields and has a new decked area with bbq, sun loungers, a table and chairs for 6, with plenty more laid to lawn. The garden is south west facing and enjoys plenty of sun.
Next to the kitchen is a similarly sized (14ft x 22ft) double aspect sitting room with two extremely comfy sofas, an armchair, woodburner, a smart TV, and games cupboard. Off this room is a further small room with a futon sofa-bed and second smart TV – perfect as an occasional spare bedroom, playroom or office. There is also an en-suite shower room.
Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms, two with king sized beds (ridiculously comfy mattresses and the softest of French linen sheets), and one with twin beds. All bedrooms have hanging space and chests of drawers for those who like to unpack. The main bathroom has a full sized bath with separate shower.

Details:
You will find all you will need for a family holiday – fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans and all manner of utensils. The basics are also provided; salt, pepper, ketchup, tea and coffee. If you need anything else, please just ask. Plenty of crockery, mugs etc, but also melamine for eating outside or taking to the beach. The sofas are comfy, as are the beds – bath towels are fluffy and new. Please note, we don’t provide picnic blankets or beach towels.
The cottages both have WIFI and a smart TV in the sitting room, however we don’t provide a DVD player.
